This project is a mobile application developed by TechTIQ Inc. for members of YPO Southeast Asia. The app allows members to connect with each other and stay updated with the latest news and events from the organization.

The project followed a fixed-price model combined with ongoing support, ensuring both initial delivery and long-term system maintenance.

What The Client Required

The client needed a centralized system to manage members, content, and events across YPO Southeast Asia. The platform had to support both global and local chapter data while providing a smooth and connected user experience for members.

The system also needed to deliver real-time updates, including news and events, and allow users to register for events easily. In addition, the client required a backend system for administration and the ability to import large amounts of member data from external sources.

Our Technologies

Specifically, our team utilized the following technologies for the project:

  • AWS (backend deployment)
  • ReactJS (frontend website)
  • OneSignal (push notifications)

Challenges

  • The system required complex authorization with multiple management levels and different access rights
  • The client did not have a finalized design, leading to many change requests even at later stages of the project
  • Communication was challenging due to limited availability from the client
  • Data import was difficult because CSV files came in different formats
